BTS Computer Services for Organisations (SIO)

< THE GOALS >

The holder of the BTS SIO participates in the production and supply of IT services to an organisation, either as a collaborator of this organisation or as a contributor to a digital services company, a software publisher or a technology consulting firm. The IT activities lead to two distinct business areas, which correspond to the two options of this diploma: Infrastructure, Systems and Network Solutions (ISNS) and Software Solutions and Business Applications (SSBA).

This training leads to the State Diploma BTS “Computer Services to Organizations” of level 5. State diploma registered by the ministerial order of 29/04/2019.

BLOCK 2 - DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

Option A: Infrastructure, Systems and Networking Solutions (ISNS)

  • Design of a network infrastructure solution
  • Installation, maintenance and deployment of a network infrastructure solution
  • Operation, troubleshooting and supervision of a network infrastructure solution

Option B: Software Solutions and Business Applications (SLAM)

  • Design and development of an application solution
  • Corrective or evolutionary maintenance of an application solution
  • Data management
BLOCK 3 - CYBER SECURITY FOR IT SERVICES
  • Protection of personal data
  • Preservation of the organisation’s digital identity
  • Securing users’ equipment and usage
  • Ensuring the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the organisation’s IT services and data against cyber attacks
BLOCK 4 - GENERAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPRESSION
  • Written communication (Writing, respecting a framework, synthesising, arguing)
  • Oral communication (Adapt to the situation and organise an oral message)
BLOCK 5 - Expression and communication in English
